Payment Options
International health insurance companies provide an array of payment options. They understand the need for various payment options, as life abroad can present all sorts of challenges to both expatriates and companies. The frequency, currency, and manner of payment are all quite flexible.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or check, and in any of the major currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP, RMB, and Hong Kong dollars. Insurance companies provide flexible payment schedules as well. Depending on the international health insurance company, payments can be made monthly, quarterly, or annually. Most insurance companies will allow you a few weeks to make payment after the policy has commenced, while others require payment be made before beginning coverage.
