Renewing the Plan
Global health insurance plans that we provide are generally guaranteed renewable for life. This means that you are able to stay on the plan as long as you want without having to worry about pre-existing conditions or waiting periods. Even if you should develop a chronic condition your plan will still continue to provide you with the comprehensive protection that you deserve.
One calendar year after the original purchase of an international medical insurance plan the policy will come up for renewal; this is often referred to as the renewal, or anniversary, date. One month before the anniversary date we will contact you with the details of your plan, outlining any changes in coverage or premium that may be applicable. It is then your choice as to whether you renew or not.
If you would like to automatically renew the policy simply select the 'auto-renew' option when applying for the plan. When you automatically renew your international health insurance plan rather than receiving a renewal statement you will be sent a confirmation letter outlining the continuing coverage.
Expatriate medical insurance premiums are calculated based on the policyholder's age and the plans geographic area of coverage; never on your nationality, occupation, or claims history. This gives you the assurance that you will always have the same renewal premium as everyone else in your age group, leaving you free to obtain the quality treatment that you deserve.
