Although Hong Kong does not have a fixed racetrack, Formula-E electric formula races have been held on the Central waterfront in the past. The World Track Autocross Championship will also be built on the Central waterfront, with the dates being November 11 and 12, 2023. The track is a mixture of asphalt and gravel roads, passing through busy sections such as Lung Wo Road and Man Yiu Street. Some sections are equipped with ramps. The total length is about 1.2 kilometers. The competition format is to hold about 20 events every day, and each event will have 5 drivers driving electric vehicles with a horsepower of up to 680. The vehicle only takes 1.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, which is faster than F1 cars.
