The new Huanggang Port Joint Inspection Building will not have a public parking lot.
As the Huanggang Port implements two-point double inspection, self-driving passengers need to park their private cars in the parking lot near the San Tin Interchange first, transfer to the Huanggang Bus to go through exit procedures at the Lok Ma Chau Control Point, and then board the bus again to go to the Huanggang Port to go through entry procedures.
In conjunction with the San Tin Technopole project, several nearby open-air parking lots have been closed.
Due to the development of the San Tin Technopole, the government has taken action on Land resumption against several private land parcels and open-air parking lots in San Tin. Of these, Lok Ma Chau Car Park, Xin Liao Shu Parking, and Fu Tai Parking, which are closest to the cross-boundary shuttle bus station, have all closed down. In the future, if you drive to San Tin and cross the border at Huanggang Port, you will need to park your car at a more distant, less desirable parking lot.
