The new Huanggang Port is set to open soon. Not only will it maintain 24-hour border clearance, but it will also adopt the "Joint Inspection and One-stop Clearance" mode under the "Co-location Arrangement," significantly reducing the clearance time to just 5 minutes. At the same time, vehicle clearance will implement a "One-stop Clearance" design. Cross-boundary Vehicles customs clearance guide

Cross-boundary Vehicles should follow the signs for "Cross-border Private Cars → Exit" to the border crossing. Then, take the diagonal route from the second floor (L2) to the first floor (L1). Once on the first floor, look for signs indicating "Empty Private Cars" or "Private Cars with Passengers." Empty private cars can proceed directly to the "Joint One-Stop Lane," while passenger cars should first go to the drop-off area.Passengers must first disembark and proceed to the "Passenger Inspection Hall" to complete passenger inspection procedures., after the customers leftThen continue driving the vehicle into the "Joint One-Stop" lane for "five-party inspection" (i.e., Hong Kong Customs, Hong Kong Department of Health, Hong Kong Immigration Department, Shenzhen Border Inspection and Shenzhen Customs).

Hong Kong to Shenzhen

1. First gate:

After arriving at the L1 vehicle departure level, cross-border vehicles must first enter the "Customs Pre-Gate" (first gate). Hong Kong Customs will conduct a risk assessment here to determine whether the vehicle needs to be inspected. At this time, pay attention to the screen display. If it says "Please proceed to the vehicle inspection area for inspection," then you need to drive the vehicle to the inspection area, complete the inspection, and then drive to the "Joint One-Stop" lane. If it says "Customs procedures completed," you can directly drive to the "Joint One-Stop" lane.

2. Second gate:

After passing through the first gate, you will enter the "Joint One-Stop" lane and stop your vehicle in front of the second gate. At this point, the driver needs to complete temperature checks, submit documents, and have their biometric data collected at the "Information Collection Kiosk" next to the lane. After the Hong Kong Immigration Department confirms that the exit procedures have been completed and the Shenzhen inspection unit confirms that it has received the collected driver information, the second gate will open.

3. Third gate:

The vehicle stops before the third gate. After the Shenzhen inspection unit confirms that the entry procedures are completed and whether the vehicle needs to be inspected, it will give instructions to the driver, and the third gate will then open.

Shenzhen to Hong Kong

1. First gate:

When an inbound vehicle arrives at the first gate of the "Joint One-Stop" lane, the gate will open after Shenzhen Border Inspection confirms that the vehicle is qualified to use the port and Shenzhen Customs confirms that the customs clearance procedures have been completed.

2. Second gate:

Vehicles must stop before reaching the second gate, where drivers complete temperature checks, submit documents, and have their biometric data collected via an integrated information collection machine. After the Shenzhen inspection unit confirms completion of exit customs clearance procedures and the Hong Kong authorities confirm that the driver's information has been obtained, the second gate will open.

3. Third gate

Before a vehicle reaches the third gate, Hong Kong Customs will conduct a risk assessment to determine whether the vehicle needs to be inspected; the Department of Health will confirm whether the driver needs to undergo further inspection; and the Hong Kong Immigration Department will confirm that immigration procedures have been completed and that visitors have collected their arrival tags (if applicable). If the vehicle needs to be inspected, the display screen will issue an instruction to the driver, and the third gate will open after the driver confirms receipt of the instruction.

4. Finally, the vehicle leaves the "Joint One-Stop" lane and proceeds to the inspection area for inspection as instructed, or directly passes through the "Rear Gate" to leave the port. When the vehicle arrives at the "Rear Gate," the gate will open once it is confirmed that the vehicle has completed the customs clearance process, allowing the vehicle to leave.

What to do if selected for inspection?

You need to drive your vehicle to the inspection area first, and then drive it to the "Joint One-Stop" lane after the inspection is completed.
